County of Riverside Sheriff/Public Administrator Auction

Terms & Conditions

PAYMENT: All Vehicles, Motorcycles, Tractors, Motorhomes, Boats, and ATV's as may be assigned to the auction by the County of Riverside Sheriff/Public Administrator's Office, shall be paid for in CASH OR CREDIT CARD (VISA/MC/DISCOVER). All other purchases shall be CASH, CREDIT CARD (VISA/MC/DISCOVER), OR PRE-APPROVED PERSONAL CHECK. All items are sold "AS-IS" and "WITH ALL FAULTS." A 10% BUYERS PREMIUM IS APPLIED TO ALL PURCHASES. Items which appear to be new or in a manufacturer's packaging are NOT presumed to be complete with all parts present, or to function as intended. Bidder acknowledges that all Lots were available for inspection prior to the auction and, by these terms, auctioneer strongly encouraged bidder to carefully inspect each Lot in which bidder had any interest to determine the Lot's nature, quality, condition, quantity and size. Bidder relied soley on personal inspection and NOT on information listed in the catalog or otherwise provided by auctioneer, its staff, or seller. If bidder failed to inspect any Lot, this failure to inspect, or otherwise be fully informed as to the Lot's nature, quality, condition, quantity and size will NOT constitute grounds for any adjustment, refund, termination of the contract for sale, or refusal to close the sale. Auctioneer may have made oral statements about the merchandise in a Lot that was purchased by bidder and which is the subject of a contract for sale with the seller. Such statements DO NOT constitute warranties of any kind by the seller or auctioneer and SHALL NOT be relied upon by bidder, and are NOT part of the contract for sale. The entire contract for sale is embodied in these written terms. These written terms constitute the final expression of the parties' agreement and a complete and exclusive statement of the terms of the contract for sale. The IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, ARE SPECIFICALLY EXCLUDED from this contract for sale and transaction and shall NOT apply to the merchandise that is the subject of this sale. Buyer is responsible for all safety equipment for removal of purchased items and, if required, Federal and/or State permits and any and all insurance or other documents including any County or Municipal Ordinance requirements for the movement on public highways. All payments are due at close of auction or checkout and must be in U.S. Currency. All purchased items must be removed at the conclusion of auction unless other arrangements are made with Public Administrator personnel prior to auction. Any items not picked up within the time limit announced will be considered abandoned and may be disposed of at the Public Administrators discretion. Any additional announcements shall be made frome the podium. All measurements and counts are approximate.
